The island is filled with product placement. Product placement is here to stay. Where else would directors get pretty cars to crash and destroy in the chase scenes? As long as it keeps the movie coming. I liked the movie, even though it was 2 hours long. As soon as they leave the compound in which they were born they will chased. Chased allot by the usual set of special army guys who manage to cause more destruction than I ever thought possible. but once the chase begins the movie is roller-coaster of expensive action scenes that are well done. Lots of running. Its sometimes funny, sometimes stupid but it comes together well. 8 out of 10. Highly recommended science fiction thriller about coming of age and going to the island. Lots of running.

once they leave the factory I was very pleased with the running and the effects. GC knows what I'm talking about, its totally a 8 at least a 7.
