well, i live at least twenty kilometres form anything that is half-interesting, so a car helps me ... be able to do stuff. like go to the movies, or gigs. or to get to university. plus, australia is rather large, and a trip tp the nearest capital city is three hundred kilometres, the next nearest is seven hundred kilometres. and you can't walk that.

buy a car so you can spend a night drinking a case of beer and getting fucked up and later drive home the next morning at 5am once you've sobered up. think about the time you can spend with your friends and do what you want when you want to and not have to rely on a bus.

By 5am you are probably still not fit to drive. Yeah, why buy a car, they are allways stuck in traffic, expensive and uneconomical. Buy a motorcycle. It's a babe magnet just like (if not more then) a car. They save a lot in taxes in the Netherlands it's 50%, most maintenance you can do yourself, you can cut through traffic and they are more economicle. They only thing you have to do is get your groceries delivered.

In the Netherlands it's more expensive to drive a car then to buy a house. And yeah, bikes are generally way better chickmagnets (although yours maybe less so, arie ;) )

If you aren't looking for something can you miss it?
I agree Owen, why buy a car when you can steal one? Nowadays the technology is so good you can easily get the engine and chassis numbers changed, so well done that no one would know, and hey, people have to insure cars so its not like you're stealing from them, you're stealing from the insurance company who are rotten rich anyway! How do you think the insurance creeps got their money? They've been stealing it from the owner of the car, thats where, only they call it premiums. They deserve you stealing the car from them!

owen, yes, houses are babemagnets, atleast as much as cars; maybe more so. They 'dig it' when you live on your own.

Owen, strangely, mobile homes are very counter-productive. This is one of those cases where you really can't combine the two.

Buy a car so you don't have to take the bus.. plus you can't take a date out and have to cut it short cus the buses in Kingston stop running at 11. (taxi's are sometime dangerous)
