I really should take more portraits but I rarely take full on headshots upclose which is the only way to get clean portrait picture with the 28mm lens that I use. I have to be really close to the subject - I mean really, really close.

I took some selfies in the bathroom to test out the camera and I didnt realise until now that there is a stray eye lash stuck on my face. My hair line has never been straight so whenever I go to the barber I have to give him/her clear instructions as to not to try the impossible. Learn to love your unfiltered self. And yeah if you pay close attention black and white IS A FILTER but who cares? If you look close you can also see my receding hair line. fml.

I was never really into taking portraits because they always seemed posed which is why i prefer candids or semi candid photos. But I am seeing value of raw controlled portrait photography.
