This is one of those unpredictable things you can buy in jamaica. You never know what state the chips/ will be when you buy it. one week it will be near perfect. The other week it will be a sea of salt, burnt chips and pirates. You just have to take what you get, hope and pray. But the large (not sure what I was thinking) and got a festival from Chicken and Tings in Cross Roads. It was good aand only cost 450 Jamaican dollars.
I am not really a fish, shrimp or snapper person but my lawyer co-worker dragged me to a place that doesn't have chicken. The sandwich was a bit small but good. It came with fries for about 550 Jamaican dollars. The fries were passable.
Mexican sauce made with dark chocolate and chilli peppers poured over lentil balls with sweet potato wedges. I liked the wedges but didn't like the balls that much - they had a ashy taste.
I need to remember to bring a fanny pack whenever I go to these workshops but I have never been the kind to horde the leftovers of the cratered food. Pictured: bake chicken, rice and peas, that other thing is barbecue fish.
