Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of the devastating earthquake that killed about 300,000 people. President Michel Martelly in a report from earlier this week said that 800,000 Haitians are living without electricity, 500,000 can’t read or write, and 8 out 10 live on less than $2 a day. Though half of the rubble has been cleared and reconstruction has begun, Haiti has a long way to go in its recovery effort.
My sister Elizabeth (a.k.a. Betty, or as she is known on my blog, Elaine) died on January 2, 2012.

One the greatest challenges while thinking about ARC and its future content is how do we stay comptetiive and how do we gather the type of work/works we want to support. After all of the research that went into issue one, we found it necessary to consider passing on how to create an identity linked to your career.
